End Distracted Driving

One text, one moment of distraction, one glance down, can mean disaster. By putting the phone down while driving and encouraging others to do the same, you can prevent tragic crashes and save lives.

According to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration,

Nine people are killed each day in the U.S. in crashes caused by a distracted driver.

3 Kinds of Distractions

There are three types of distractions:

1. Visual – distractions that take our eyes off the road.

2. Manual – distractions that physically take our hands off the wheel.

3. Cognitive – distractions that take our minds away from driving.

Using a phone while driving is particularly dangerous because it involves all three kinds of distractions.
